Walking on the Path Less Traveled: 5 Reflections to Up-Level Your Life

Walking in the RedWoods near Santa Cruz California

5 reflections from walking the path less traveled.

If you have been following my blog for awhile or just tuning in for the first time, I have to say that my journey definitely has the flavor of being on the road less traveled.

I’ll be the first to admit though that traveling on this path has its ups and downs. Decision after decision, time after time, I tend to take risks and jump into new terrain. Has my optimism been crushed at times? You bet!

However, I also know that there are tools and thoughts that I can use to pull myself back into the moment.

Here are 5 Reflections from walking on The Path Less Traveled:

  1. Find and cultivate friendships with people that accept your flaws. No one is perfect but having people who are constantly critical finishes the creative process.

2. Create a morning routine that sets the tone for your day. Self-care is essential.

3. Let things go sooner rather than later. Sometimes things need to crumble so new architecture can emerge.

4. Keep going. Fail forward. Let B- work exist as gravitation to perfection impedes momentum and creativity.

5. Look to nature for solutions. Universal truth resides there.

I would love to finish this post by sharing a passage from the poem that we all know so well.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

“The Road Not Taken”
Robert Frost
