Food Can Be a Powerful Tool for Creating Health

The food we eat has a major impact on our health, but the way we prepare it can also have an effect. Eating a diet high in processed foods, sugar, and unhealthy fats can lead to many health problems, such as obesity and heart disease. But what if I told you that changing just one of these factors could make all the difference? Just by cooking a meal with healthier ingredients, you can improve your health. Getting rid of the rich dairy version of fondue with this plant-based recipe is a delicious option.

Here is a fun fact about the plant pigment present in the purple cauliflower, anthocyanin.

It is pH-dependent. When it is in an acidic environment, it has more blue tones and when it is in an acidic environment, it has pink tones. In cooking, acidity can be added many ways.

Lemon and vinegar are two options to experiment with. You can see more in the video about how this works.

Crudités

What is best to serve with this dip?

You can also add on top any combination of nuts, seeds, and spices.

I like to lightly steam raw vegetables to make them more digestible.

Traditionally fondue can be found with bread however adding the vegetables creates more potentiality for added plant nutrients.

It is also delicious with warm toasted sourdough toast bites.
